Meet Rachel K. Smith

Hi, I’m Rachel. I have spent over 20 years working with children and more than 12 years teaching in public, charter, and private school settings. While my passion and strength are rooted in Pre-K through elementary education, I love supporting homeschooling families with students of all ages as they build meaningful learning experiences at home.

A Fort Worth native now living in Alexandria, VA, I believe education is deeply personal and best nurtured within the context of family, faith, and community. I am passionate about joyful, Spirit-led learning, and in recent years God has placed a clear mission on my heart — to encourage revival within families as they prioritize family-centered education.

Throughout my years in the classroom and alongside families, I have seen both the beauty and the challenges that come with stepping into homeschooling. Many parents feel overwhelmed or under-qualified when beginning this journey, but I believe every family can walk confidently in the calling God has placed on their lives. My role is to come alongside you — to encourage, equip, and help create an environment where both parents and students can thrive.

“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” This verse reflects the heart behind my work: guiding families toward clarity, confidence, and a deeper sense of purpose through education. This is your ministry, and I am here to serve the vision God has entrusted to you.

If you’re in the D.C. area, I would love to meet you and your family — let’s connect over a cup of coffee and talk about how I can support your homeschooling journey.

CHILDREN ARE NOT A DISTRACTION FROM MORE IMPORTANT WORK. THEY ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT WORK.
